Celebrating an Incredible Milestone: Rita Marks Her 102nd Birthday at Lytham Court Care Home

There was a wonderful atmosphere at Lytham Court Care Home as residents, relatives and staff came together to celebrate an extraordinary milestone – Rita Fletcher's 102nd birthday.

To make the occasion truly special, we were delighted to welcome talented opera singer John Fernley, who entertained everyone with a beautiful performance of much-loved classical songs. Residents sang along, clapped to the music and enjoyed an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter and heartfelt moments. Rita was thrilled with the surprise entertainment, making her birthday celebration one to remember.

Following the performance, everyone gathered to enjoy a traditional afternoon tea, complete with delicious sandwiches, cakes and, of course, birthday treats. It was the perfect opportunity for residents, family members and staff to spend quality time together while celebrating Rita's remarkable achievement.

Reaching the incredible age of 102 is a truly inspiring milestone, and everyone at Lytham Court was honoured to celebrate alongside Rita.
