Full Time | Permanent | 40 Hours per Week (Supernumerary)

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are looking for an experienced, compassionate and motivated Registered Manager to lead our dedicated team at Euxton Park Nursing Home. As Registered Manager, you will have full clinical and operational responsibility for the home, ensuring the highest standards of care, regulatory compliance and resident wellbeing.

About the Role

As Registered Manager, you will:

  • Provide visible, effective leadership across all aspects of the home.

  • Take full responsibility for the clinical, operational and financial performance of the service.

  • Ensure outstanding, person-centred care is delivered consistently.

  • Maintain compliance with CQC regulations, legislation and company policies.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive culture for residents, relatives and colleagues.

  • Participate in the management on-call rota and provide emergency support where required.


Key Responsibilities

Clinical Leadership

  • Lead the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident care.

  • Promote best practice and continuously improve clinical standards.

  • Ensure residents receive safe, effective and compassionate nursing care.

  • Work collaboratively with GPs, hospitals and other healthcare professionals.

  • Oversee clinical services including medical, dental, optical and podiatry provision.

  • Support and mentor Registered Nurses and Care Teams through coaching and clinical leadership.

  • Maintain professional knowledge and encourage evidence-based practice throughout the home.

  • Investigate complaints, incidents and safeguarding concerns, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.

  • Champion resident wellbeing by supporting meaningful activities, rehabilitation and quality of life initiatives.

Leadership & Management

  • Inspire, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.

  • Ensure effective communication throughout the home.

  • Monitor performance and support continuous improvement.

  • Ensure policies relating to admissions, care planning, medicines management, discharge and end-of-life care are followed.

  • Maintain a safe, welcoming and homely environment for residents.

  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, fire safety requirements and statutory regulations.

  • Manage resources effectively, including equipment, maintenance requests and ordering of supplies.

  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

People Management

  • Lead recruitment, induction and retention of high-quality staff.

  • Support learning and development through coaching, supervision and appraisals.

  • Identify training needs and work alongside the Training & Quality team to support professional development.

  • Promote staff wellbeing and provide guidance where required.

  • Manage employee relations matters fairly and consistently, including performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.

  • Ensure personnel records remain accurate and compliant.


About You

We're looking for someone who is:

  • A passionate and inspirational leader with previous experience managing a nursing home.

  • Registered with the NMC.

  • Experienced in leading high-performing teams and achieving excellent quality standards.

  • Knowledgeable in CQC regulations, safeguarding, clinical governance and care legislation.

  • An excellent communicator with strong organisational and decision-making skills.

  • Committed to delivering exceptional resident outcomes and continuous service improvement.
