Our home was transformed into a wonderful space of romance and nostalgia, creating the perfect setting for an afternoon that brought everyone together — and left smiles on faces long after the final song.

A Special Marilyn Monroe Visit Brings Hollywood to Ambleside Bank

The afternoon began with a very special treat: a visit from a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, who spent time with every resident throughout the event.

From the moment she arrived, residents were completely captivated by her authentic costume, iconic mannerisms, and remarkably accurate speaking voice. It truly felt like Hollywood glamour had arrived right at our doorstep!

She took time to chat, sing, dance, and pose for photographs with residents, creating personal moments that made everyone feel included and valued.

Timeless Songs That Sparked Joy and Conversation

The performance included classic songs such as Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend, which had residents smiling and tapping along. Timeless favourites from the era, including Que Sera Sera and Some Enchanted Evening, created a beautiful atmosphere of romance and nostalgia.
