🐣 Easter Joy at Ambleside Bank: Looking Back at 2025… and Ahead to 2026

Easter is always a truly special time at Ambleside Bank—a chance to bring people together, celebrate the changing seasons, and create joyful memories for our residents, families, and team.

As we look ahead to Easter 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the wonderful celebrations we shared last year… and hint at what might be in store this time around!

🐰 A Magical Visit from the Easter Bunny

Last year, Ambleside Bank was filled with smiles and laughter as we welcomed a very special guest—the Easter Bunny!

The visit brought back all the nostalgic fun of Easter for our residents. From handing out Easter eggs to sharing moments of joy together, it was a heartwarming experience for everyone involved.

Our residents had a fantastic time, and it was clear to see just how much these moments mean—sparking memories, conversation, and plenty of laughter.

A huge thank you goes to our wonderful Activity Coordinator, Joanne, who made the visit possible and helped ensure every resident received their Easter treat.

🌸 A Creative Twist: The Easter Walking Parade

In 2025, our residents decided to do something a little different—and it was a huge success!

Instead of the traditional Easter bonnet parade, they introduced an Easter Zimmer frame and walking stick parade. Residents got creative, decorating their walking aids with colourful Easter themes, ribbons, and seasonal touches.

The result? A vibrant and uplifting “catwalk” event where residents proudly showcased their designs, joined by family and friends who came along to support and celebrate.

One of our residents, Doreen, described the day as:

“Absolutely fantastic—I really enjoyed it.”

Moments like these highlight the importance of creativity, individuality, and shared experiences in later life.
