Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Day) – Fixed Term (12 Months)

Location: Lytham Court Nursing Home

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Hours: 44 hours per week (Day Shifts)

Pay: £13.62 per hour

About the Role

Lytham Court Nursing Home is looking for a compassionate and reliable Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

As a Day HCA, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to our residents, supporting them to live with dignity, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)

• Assisting with mobility and daily living activities

• Promoting independence and wellbeing

• Building positive relationships with residents and their families

• Working collaboratively as part of a supportive care team

• Maintaining accurate records in line with care standards

• A caring, kind, and dependable individual

• Previous care experience is preferred but not essential

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
