Job Title: Health Care Assistant (Night) – Fixed Term (12 Months)

Location: Lytham Court Nursing Home

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract (12 Months)

Hours: 48 hours per week (Night Shifts)

Pay: £14.12 per hour

About the Role

Lytham Court Nursing Home is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.

As a Night HCA, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable, and supported.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing personal care and support during night hours

• Assisting residents with mobility and repositioning

• Monitoring residents’ wellbeing and responding to needs promptly

• Carrying out regular checks and maintaining a safe environment

• Supporting residents with dignity and respect at all times

• Completing accurate records and handovers

• A caring, calm, and reliable individual

• Previous care experience preferred but not essential

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• A proactive and responsible approach to care
