🐾 Pet Therapy Returns by Popular Demand

Our residents told us how much they enjoyed their pet therapy sessions — and we’re delighted to say they’re back! The joy and comfort that our furry visitors bring is truly heart-warming. Whether it’s a wagging tail or a gentle cuddle, these visits are a highlight for many and a wonderful boost for wellbeing.

🍻 Welcome to the New “Ambleside Inn”

We’re thrilled to announce more social events in our very own Ambleside Inn – the perfect place for residents to relax, enjoy a drink, and catch up with friends. From quiz nights to music afternoons, it’s quickly becoming the social hub of our home.

🎯 Darts Anyone?

A special thank-you goes to Stan, who suggested adding a dart board to our activity and bar room. Great idea, Stan! Residents are already enjoying friendly competitions and a bit of light-hearted rivalry.

🎶 More Live Entertainment

We’ve also brought in more live entertainment after residents asked for it – and it’s been a huge success. From talented singers to lively performances, the atmosphere has been fantastic.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Fun Day

Families are a big part of life at Ambleside Bank, so we’ve organised a Family Day with play facilities for the children and full access to our lovely garden. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to spend quality time together, enjoy good food, and make happy memories.

🚌 A Trip to the Imperial War Museum

Our residents also enjoyed a wonderful day trip to the Imperial War Museum – a fascinating and meaningful outing that sparked great conversation and reflection.
